Today's MOTN pump was a total disaster!! I did my last pump off the night at 10:30 and slept until 4:30. Pumped for 45 minutes because I was so full 30 minutes just didn't do it. I had about 7oz from my right breast. When I was done and going to get up, my bottle unscrewed for my flange and fell on my bed (and on me). 3.5 oz... gone!! My bed is soaked, my pijamas were soaked, my eyes were soaked (from tears lol). I cannot believe that just happened. I moved to the couch to try to sleep because I don't want to wake up my husband to change the bedding right now (plus I'm still in shock and disbelief). 😭😭😭. Hopefully, everyone's MOTN pump went better than mine!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!! I don't think it would have happened if I hadn't been so exhausted (first week back at work after maternity leave). I'm doing my last pump of the day and made sure to screw the flanges om TIGHT haha. I'm sorry this has happened to so many of you, it's definitely hard to lose milk, especially when we spend so much time to get it! I hope everyone gets some rest, lots of milkies (that's what my baby calls it haha) and all your sessions done!!
